Surroundings

The house
The main building is a remarkable example of 17th-century Catalan rural architecture.
It is built entirely of local stone and features thick walls that keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter, wooden beam ceilings, and original Romanesque roof tiles.

The Site
Our 3-hectare property is an oasis of natural beauty and tranquility. Mature trees provide shade and shelter, while open meadows offer space for outdoor activities and contemplation. Walking trails wind through the grounds, inviting you to explore and connect with nature.
The land has been in use for centuries, and the rich soil supports a variety of native plants and animals. We maintain the grounds using organic methods, respecting the natural ecosystem and ensuring a healthy environment.
Various outdoor spaces are available for retreat activities, including a shaded yoga platform, meditation spots, and gathering areas by the stream. The natural beauty of the grounds offers constant inspiration and a sense of peace.
Pure Natural Water
One of the estate’s most distinctive features is its water. We have our own spring, which provides pure, clean water that has sustained this land for generations. The water is naturally filtered through layers of rock and soil, making it crystal clear and delicious.
A natural stream also flows through the estate—the Llémena, which gives the valley its name. This stream creates a soothing sound of flowing water and supports a riparian ecosystem. The stream is a favorite spot for quiet contemplation and nature observation.
This abundance of pure water is becoming increasingly rare and precious. It constantly reminds us of nature’s gifts and the importance of preserving and protecting our natural resources.
